Computers2Kids: A Mobile Application to better enable low-income families to gain access to C2K’s resources
Our multidisciplinary international team worked with Computers2Kids (C2K) to develop a mobile application for low-income families and individuals to get access to low-cost computers and maintain communication with C2K for tech support requests, order statuses, and other appointments. With a streamlined application and client interface, Computers2Kids can continue to expand their social-good work with an already existing 30,000+ customers from San Diego, Arizona, and Nevada to nationwide and worldwide.

A section dedicated to recognizing and thanking our committed volunteer Product Managers, Developers, and Designers for donating their talents to our nonprofit clientele.
Meet Emily Xu, University of California Berkeley ‘21
"I have been with Develop for Good since August 2020 and have gotten the opportunity to work on so many high impact projects that are closely aligned with my personal interests and technical skills. I talked a lot about my experience at Develop for Good during interviews, and as a result, was able to land both a strategy consulting internship and a full-time APM role after graduation. Not only that, I've made so many new friends across the world in various industries, who are interested in making a social impact as well. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to leverage my skills for social good to help nonprofits grow - I was very pleased to contribute to society and make an impact."
Meet Mohammed Othman, CUNY College of Staten Island ‘21
“I'm enthusiastic about using technology and the knowledge I learned from the past four years of my academic career to impact the world positively. Our team will be making an e-learning platform to provide veterans with resources to help improve their job-hunting skills. I'm thankful for this chance to work with a diverse team of people with a passion for helping people.”
Meet Shivani Gandhi, The University of Texas at Dallas ‘22
“I believe that those who can, should use the skills they have for a greater purpose. Not only am I getting a chance to improve upon my skills and gain new experiences, but I also have the chance to work with extremely knowledgable peers to create an application that will benefit Umpqua Watershed's mission of protecting and restoring ecosystems, which in turn has a huge impact on everyone. I'm grateful to have gotten this opportunity and cannot wait to share the finished product!”
