Hi friends! 🌸
Spring is here and so is our new Spring Project cycle! Our entire management team has been working hard behind the scene to process all the nonprofit, volunteer, mentor applications we received for our upcoming cycle. We’re excited for the start of our new Spring season on Monday, April 5th!
Statement on Anti-Asian Hate Crimes and Mass Violence
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are some of our core values at Develop for Good. We wanted to reach out and extend our support for those affected by the horrific hate crimes and senseless murders that have occurred in both Atlanta, Georgia and Boulder, Colorado over the past few weeks. We are extremely disheartened by the recent news, and are actively committed to creating an inclusive environment within our organization. We encourage members within our community to reach out to their team, Managing Directors, or other personal connections if they need any support.
Thank you again to our amazing volunteers for donating their time to such a worthy cause - even though many of us may never have met in person, we acknowledge the power and comfort of our online community. We continue to stand by all of our volunteers, mentors, advisors, donors, and nonprofit partners in support and solidarity.

New Case Studies Are Up 🤗
Take a look at a few of our recently published Case Studies:
Tax-Aid Data Visualization
Tax-Aid’s data collection was used to create a dashboard that provides important insights into resource allocation and past trends over time for the organization. The data was also used to create an algorithm that cleans and organizes future data for the organization, thereby relieving the client of a significant bottleneck. Read their Case Study here.

Meet Daryll Wong, Computer Science @ Singapore University of Technology & Design ‘21
"I'm passionate in using technology to create a positive impact in the world. It's extremely rewarding to work with an incredible team to build an education platform for children in Peru & Colombia who may lack access to education. I'm grateful for this opportunity to work with such a diverse team, and I can't wait to see the end result of the team's hard work!"
Meet Resham Khanna, Cognitive Science & Psychology, UC Berkeley ‘21
"As someone passionate about social good, having the opportunity to work with UNICEF was enriching and eye opening. I was the Product Design Manager for our project, C-Board. Our team was tasked with designing and developing a tool that promotes interaction and steers children with complex communication needs towards an education and active social life. Overall, it is estimated that there are 12,000 children aged 0 - 6 years in Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia in need of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). In the region, approximately 840,000 children could potentially benefit from this open source solution. It is now clearer to me than ever that I value compassion, inclusion and impact in my work. I aim to build products that push beyond simply “doing the job” by keeping my focus on creating memorable and meaningful experiences instead."
We will be posting more volunteer spotlights on our LinkedIn over the coming weeks!
