Volunteer Spotlights 🌟
A section dedicated to recognizing and thanking committed volunteer Product Managers, Developers, and Designers for donating their talents to our nonprofit clientele.
Meet Alison Yim, Lehigh University ‘24
“I was motivated to volunteer because I wanted to be part of my community in a way that’s larger than having a job in it. I’ve always been passionate about engaging in intimate community connection and using my skills and talents to help create social good, whether that be big or small. When I saw the project opening for National Alliance for Volunteer Engagement, I was immediately drawn by the project’s mission of wanting to drive a national conversation about the power and potential of volunteer engagement.”
Meet Victor Molina, National Autonomous University of Mexico ‘21
“As a first-generation college student, belonging to a discriminated sector, I had the chance to interact with so many people that had to work arduously to get their first opportunity in the industry, most of them had to sacrifice plenty of things, so they can start their careers, and there aren't many opportunities for students or recent grads.
Working on Develop for Good’s in-house website redesign project gave me the opportunity to impact people in similar situations, helping them find their first opportunity by working on a project that matches their goals and values, giving them the chance to shine, and impacting the lives of millions of people. I truly believe that our generation has a lot to contribute, we just need someone that gives us the opportunity to show off, Develop for Good is one of them, and I feel so proud to be part of it.”
